Dev Log 2 // Rubby the Duck

Developer Log – 16th April 2023

Welcome to the second dev log from “This is Freaking Fantastic”!
We are excited to share our progress on our first game, “Rubby the Duck”.

We have been working hard on the game, and we are happy to report that we are now in the internal alpha stage with more than 20 scenes, that our talented designer created. This means that the game is playable to a certain degree, but we are still making tweaks and improvements to make it even better.

In the meantime, we are also preparing for a closed alpha, which we will be announcing soon. We want to make sure we get feedback from players so we can make the game as enjoyable as possible.

One of the things we are focusing on is using an event system to ensure better and more stable gameplay. We believe that this will make for a smoother and more enjoyable experience for everyone who plays the game.

Additionally, we are also trying to implement basic sound effects and music to create a more immersive experience for players during this alpha stage. We think that this will help players get even more engaged with the game and have a lot of fun.

Thanks for following along with our progress, and stay tuned for more updates on “Rubby the Duck”!

Thank you for your patience.
Peace.
